La Caresse de la Pluie

This beautiful display of the delicate touch of rain on ranunculus flower petals was taken on a quiet, raining morning at the Carlsbad Flower Fields. La Caresse de la Pluie ("The Caress of the Rain") immortalizes the delicate beauty of rain kissed petals glistening in the mist of a light rain. Previously featured in one of the most prestigious and long-standing photography competitions in the United States -- the San Diego Fair Photography exhibition this past summer of 2026.
